Header Styles
Four curtain header styles—Pleated, Ripple Fold, Grommet, and Soft Top—are designed to accommodate different design preferences and functional requirements.

- The pleats are folded inward at the center, forming a clean, structured inverted box shape. This design creates a crisp, symmetrical look that adds depth and elegance to your window treatment.

Additional Information:

- Recommended for medium to heavyweight fabrics with good drape.
- Stacking Note: Not ideal if you want a very tight, compact stack; this header style produces a fuller, more relaxed fold when drawn.
- Header Tape Note: The white tape sewn on the back is exclusively for sheer curtains. For other fabrics, it is omitted for a cleaner look.
Understanding Pleated Header Styles
- Tailor Pleat
Stitched at the top with a wider opening below.
Offers a crisp, elongated look—clean, modern, and visually lifted.
- Pinch Pleat
Stitched at the center of each pleat, creating a tighter, more structured look.
Classic, symmetrical, and formal with strong definition.
- French Pleat
Stitched at the bottom, allowing the top to fan open like an elegant bloom.
Softer, more decorative, and ideal for adding graceful dimension.
All pleated header styles—including Pinch Pleat, Tailor Pleat, French Pleat, Triple Pinch, Triple Tailor, Triple French, and Goblet—feature the same clean back appearance as shown.
A white header tape is exposed on the reverse to provide structure and lift, ensuring your curtains hang beautifully and maintain their shape, whether or not a lining is used.

Header Back Tape Height: 4 inches
Overview:
- Ripple Fold curtains, available with either Belt Hook or Tape Buckle back-end configurations, create smooth, evenly spaced waves that glide effortlessly along the track.
Specifications:
- Hook Space: 4 1/4 inches
- Buckle Space: 4 5/8 inches
Additional Information:
- Suitable for traverse rods with ripple fold gliders and ripple fold tracks.
- Standard fullness ratio: 2.2x.
- Memory Shape: Belt Hooks can be shaped; Tape Buckles achieve the same effect without shaping.
The front appearance of both Belt Hook and Tape Buckle styles is identical, creating a uniform, sleek look.
Back-End Details:
- Belt Hook: Hooks attach to a transparent header tape (3 inches wide), providing a structured drape and clean folds.
- Tape Buckle: Buckles secure to a white header tape (1 1/2 inches wide) for a crisp, stable finish.
- Exposed Header Tape: Regardless of whether a lining is used, the header tape remains visible on the back, ensuring consistent support and elegant shaping.
Butt-Master (Cozyology Edition)
- Meets perfectly flush in the center without overlapping.
- Achieves 100% total blackout while preserving a pristine, symmetrical wave aesthetic.
Traditional Overlap-Master
- Crosses over at the center to block light leaks.
- Adds noticeable bulk to the fabric layers and creates a slightly uneven appearance.
Specifications:
- Grommet size: Inner diameter: 1 5/8 inches; Outer diameter: 2 3/8 inches; Ring width: 3/4 inches.
- Side hem: 1 3/16 inches; Bottom hem: 3 5/32 inches.
- Recommendation: Use an even number of grommets for balanced folds.

- The side edges of the curtain match the color of your selected fabric.
- The section beneath the header reflects your choice of lining:
if a lining is added, it shows the liner color;
if no lining is used, it shows the reverse side of the curtain fabric.

Overview:
- Rod Pocket curtains feature a hidden pocket design that requires no extra sliding parts. Easy to install, they create soft, relaxed folds that add a decorative, elegant touch.

- Header Tape Width: 3 1/8 inches

Measurement Note:
Use the Soft Top Measurement Tool for accurate length. If using a pleated header, the finished curtain may be slightly longer than the ordered length.

- Header Back Tape Height: 4 inches
